RECOMMENDED: Burger Junkyard, The Strand Kota Damansara

Fries are served separately
Tasty burgers, interesting deco, casual dining, Coca Cola in bottles - all at about RM20 per person - what more can you ask for???

Beef in Blankets
Together with DH, K1 and K2, SG foodie opted for the regular sized burgers (burgers come in half-sized - one small patty or regular - 2 small patties or 1 large patty). The orders were all beef although the place serves chicken burgers too. All burger orders come with french-fries that are served separately with a special mayo sauce. You're given a mouse stuffed toy mouse with a number tag as you wait for your orders to be delivered. SG foodie asked for a white mouse instead of a black or grey one and the youngster at the cashier obliged. Hehehe!

So the orders were:

Steaming Cheeseburger
1) Beef in Blankets (beef burger with double beef bacon, cheese and smoked BBQ glaze)
2) Texas Hold Me (beef burger with onion rings, bacon and BBQ sauce)
Texas Hold Me
3) Steaming Cheeseburger (beef burger with cheese and garlic)
4) Balsamic Beefing Onions (beef burger with caramelised onion chutney and beet)

Balsamic Beefing Onions
All the burgers were delicious but SG foodie absolutely loved the Balsamic Beefing Onions burger with sweet caramelised onion chutney and  Beetroot that gives extra moisture to the succulent burger patties. Bacon lovers will of course prefer Beef in Blankets or Texas Hold Me.

SG foodie will admit though that the burgers at Burger Junkyard is better than that served at The Hand Burger... Btw SG foodie is still trying to have a go at The Burger Lab to try its burgers but the queue at that place is prohibiting!
