RECOMMENDED: Isetan 1 Utama - WON Korean Restaurant

SG foodie was coughing her lungs out and had bad sniffles so she decided she MUST have some form of chicken soup to warm her soul. Taking herself to one of her favourite malls (1 Utama) to cheer herself up, she settled into Won Korean Restaurant within Isetan and ordered up a bowl of Ginseng Chicken Soup all for herself!

Well the banchan was all for herself so SG foodie can't complain much about having to fight for her favourite small side dishes. The ginseng chicken soup came really boiling hot (hence the foamy top). If you had Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup before, you would know the chicken is stuffed with rice and soaked into the ginseng soup, the rice is superbly flavourful and tasty! Topped it off with tender whole chicken, you have the best type of chicken soup one can have especially when you're under the weather. So YES SG foodie polished off the whole big bowl of ginseng chicken soup and banchan all my herself and felt so much better thereafter!

Only one con to this though, the Korean Ginseng Chicken Soup at Won Restaurant cost a whopping RM40 but SG foodie was more than willing to foot the bill for convenience! (Btw this wasn't the 1st time, SG foodie visited Won, she had tried their bibimbap and kimchi soup previously and they were pretty awesome too).
