DON'T BOTHER: Lameeya

Wanting something different from the ordinary, SG foodie thought she should give Lameeya, a shop that she has passed by a few times a try. Got a seat quickly and ordered a curry mee, meat ball lam mee (KL style lor-mee) and a plate of salted egg char kway teow. You can possibly tell SG foodie is on a quest in search of good curry mee and char kway teow. But Lameeya isn't the place for it. The salted egg char kway teow was possibly the best dish of the lot, saved by the savoury salted duck egg. The curry in the curry mee was rather diluted which I think you can see from the picture itself, reminding SG foodie of childhood curry served in school canteens where they dilute the curry for children. Because SG foodie has tried other better lam mee elsewhere, she wasn't particularly like this lam mee though it wasn't too bad. SG foodie is unlikely to return to this place again though she understand the place does have its own loyal followings.
