RECOMMENDED: Damansara Hokkien Mee (Damansara Utama)

Everytime a Singaporean friend visits KL, they'd ask about the Hokkien Mee especially the famous one in Petaling Street but SG foodie will always tell them there is actually a few in Damansara Utama itself. And these are cleaner options to the Petaling Street one. SG foodie is a fan of Damansara Hokkien Mee which is a few shops down from Sentul Ah Yap Hokkien Mee. SG foodie has tried both shops and have to say that the Damansara Hokkien Mee is a much better, slurpilicious one! The use of Pork lard and crispy pieces of pork fats in the dark-sauced Hokkien Mee is simply divine! And SG foodie is not the only one who thinks so for when you are there, it is quite visibly obvious that Damansara Hokkien Mee is a favourite by the sheer number of people that are eating there.
Besides Hokkien Mee and other noodles such as Cantonese fried and Loh Mee, the shop also has a stall serving roast duck and such. The roast duck is a delicious appetiser as you wait for the Hokkien Mee to be cooked.
SG foodie also recommends that you try to Kalamansi Sour Plum juice served at the shop! =)
