Beyond KL: The Lord's Cafe, Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands

The Tourist Prayer

SG foodie was tasked to bring an out of town relation from Australia who has never been to Cameron Highlands lately and was in Tanah Rata for some munch. Remembering that some bloggers had recommended The Lord's Cafe, SG foodie took some time to look for this place (which is right above Marry Brown) and must say it was worth the while. It's not a glamourous luxury teahouse but a quaint home-like tea place. The scones were ordered and gobbled immediately hence SG foodie had to take pictures from the scones display and the menu's picture which is true to life of what is served. The scones are absolutely fantastic! Not too hard and not too flaky either. The cream served with it may not be clotted cream but goes really well with the scones. The jam is nothing special but goes well with the butter if you prefer your scones with butter and jam. This is a MUST TRY if you are ever in Cameron Highlands.
